PCMCIA wireless network card
- This is a network card that will connect to the hub (or "Wireless access point") bellow trough radio waves in the 2.4Ghz band. The hub must be connected to your network. This is ideal for surfing the net on a laptop in different rooms of your house or office without needing 10BaseT cables and plugs everywhere.
- The transfer rate also depends on the link quality, varying from 11Mbps to 2Mbps. For internet surfers this is plenty of speed, since the best DSL connections are providing speeds under 1Mbps.
- The maximum distance to the Access point is 50 to 70 feet depending on the metallic obstructions.
- Many airports and Starbucks Coffee Shops are currently being wired for this sort of communication. Laptop owners will be able to surf the net in these areas at high speed, with minimal setup headaches.

- This will connect to your existing network hub. It will be assigned a static IP Address and can be used for access to the internet and the network. (Comes with comprehensive documentation that explains how can it be setup with Static or Dynamic IP's)
- For large offices you can install 2, 3 or more access points to cover the entire area. We recommend to have one every 80 feet. You can walk with a laptop anywhere in the office and be connected to the network without needing any setup for each particular access point.
